London, February 2026, Handelsbanken Fonder AB, a leading Swedish asset manager has become the latest signatory to the BBFAW investor statement and member of the BBFAW Global Investor Collaboration on Farm Animal Welfare. As a signatory to the collaboration, Handelsbanken Fonder will benefit from facilitated engagements with companies, policymakers and other stakeholders aimed at improving animal welfare standards in global supply chains. This includes an annual engagement with the CEOs of all 150 companies covered by the BBFAW.
The Investor Collaboration is now supported by 32 institutional investors (1) representing £2.2 trillion in assets under management.
